What I Believe
I believe Pike County is the best place to live and raise children and I believe we have an obligation to provide the best environment we can in which to raise our children.
I believe government should listen to what people say and I believe people should control the government. Government should not control people.
I believe in not buying what you cannot pay for and not promising what you cannot accomplish.
I believe in a balanced budget based on conservative numbers.
I believe in home rule. No one knows better than the citizens of Pike County, what Pike County needs.
I believe in personal property rights.
I believe we need smaller government not bigger and I believe we need to listen more and talk less.
I believe that in Pike County we have an opportunity to protect our quality of life through careful planning. If we plan carefully, spend wisely, require financial accountability and promote good stewardship we can have a balanced budget without taxing our seniors out of their homes and without minimizing the needs of our children.
